Iron Horse Engineering manufactures elastomeric Rail Seal  is a co-extruded thermoplastic rubber with a top dual durometer surface, giving a longer life of the railroad crossing in all climate and road conditions. Rail Seal is used in grade crossings for freight, industrial and transit paved tracks. The Rail Seal provides a more stable grade crossing while protecting rail from contact with poured concrete or asphalt.  Our improved clamping system makes installations faster and distributes force across the material more evenly to reduce pinching and a wavy appearance. We offer a dual durometer safety yellow to improve crossing safety for pedestrians and flange way visibility for bicycles.
