Larry has a BS in Civil Engineering and has been in the Transit, Rail, Design and Construction Industry since 1995. He started his career as an engineer working for the Transit Agency, then moved to Contractors side of Light Rail Construction and for the last 16 years on the Trackway Suppliers side for Iron Horse Engineering.

As an LRT designer for Tri-Met in Portland, Larry gained a unique perspective from the owners side of project generation, design and procurement. Then working for Stacy and Witbeck General Engineering Contractors and as a Project Engineer and Purchasing Manager on multiple large scale projects, Larry learned the details of how LRT and Streetcar systems are bid, procured, built and delivered in an urban environment.

 

Now, Larry is a key figure in the success of Iron Horse Engineering. He has led the sales effort for 15 years and become an industry leader in LRT track construction methods. For 15 years, Larry consistently leads the Railboot market in sales with his strong industry knowledge, personal service and connections.
